    Learner releases

    Content freshness

Now it’s easier than ever to tell that the content you’re viewing is current with the latest industry developments.

The Released date on the right sidebar of the course details page shows when a course was first published.

Pluralsight authors regularly review our courses to make sure we’re delivering you the most up-to-date content possible. If an author makes changes to a course after we first published it, you’ll see an Updated date instead of a Released date.

If an author reviews a course and determines that the content is still fresh and doesn’t need changes, you’ll also see a Reviewed date below the Released/Updated date field.

    Thumbnail previews

Now it’s easy to find a specific section of a video course with scrubbing thumbnail previews. Hover over the progress bar to see a preview of the video at any point without leaving your current place. Once you’ve found the section you’re interested in, click the progress bar or drag the progress marker to move to that point.

Currently available on all courses published after January 18, 2023, this feature will be added to all video courses in a phased approach.
