What you can do

Insights gained from Tech Foundations analytics include:

• Overall assessments assigned and passed
• Users assigned and active
• Topic completion
• Assessment pass rates by topic

Web report

To get started:

1. Click Analytics in the left navigation panel.
2. Click the Tech Foundations tab in the top center panel.

Tech Foundations analytics includes two views:

• The default view is the Overview.
• When you scroll down to the Content table and click a particular topic, you'll see its Topic detail report.

Overview

The Overview provides high-level data on your team's progress with Tech Foundations.

1. The Overview metrics detail your team's engagement in Tech Foundations topics. The data fields include:
   • Overall assessments passed
   • Total assessments passed
   • Total assessments assigned
   • Users assigned
   • Users active
   • Users passed all assessments
2. The Assessments passed visualization shows both the percentage and the number of users who have passed each Tech Foundations assessment, sorted by descending order. Calculation is based on the number of users passed divided by number of users assigned.
3. You can customize the web and CSV reports with the date range filter.
4. You can customize the web and CSV reports with the teams filter. To view unassigned users, make sure all teams are deselected.
5. You can customize the web and CSV reports with the license filter, including options for removed and free account users. If your plan includes multiple license types, this filter allows you to select which to include in the reports.
6. You can download a CSV report of your analytics data (discussed below).

Content table

Below the Overview, the Content table displays details for each Tech Foundations topic. Clicking on or next to each label allows you to either filter or sort by that field. For those that sort, you can click again to toggle between ascending and descending.

The data fields include:

• Content title
• Content type
• Users active
• Users passed
• User engagement

You can click on any item in the Content title column to see its Topic detail report.

Topic detail report

The Topic detail report provides finer details for the selected video or assessment.

1. The overview shows overall metrics for the selected video or assessment.
   • The data fields for videos include:
     • Users viewed
     • Total view time
     • Average view time per user
     • Average video watched
   • The data fields for assessments include:
     • Users assessed
     • No video watched pass rate
     • Video watched pass rate
     • Total assessments pass rate
2. The user table details the activity of the users who have engaged in the selected video or assessment. Clicking on or next to each label allows you to either filter or sort by that field. For those that sort, you can click again to toggle between ascending and descending.
   • The data fields for videos include:
     • Name
     • View time
     • Last activity
     • Video watched
   • The data fields for assessments include:
     • Name
     • Result
     • Assessments taken
     • Last activity

CSV report

View more details about your Tech Foundations analytics using the CSV report download. To download the CSV, click the download icon next to the teams filter.

The file will download to your system’s Downloads folder. Depending on the size of your plan, this may take some time to process. Once downloaded, open the file in a spreadsheet program.

The data fields for the report include:

• First name
• Last name
• Email
• Note
• Team
• Topic
• Video watched
• Result
