Tag repos to quickly view reports for a certain app, team, or other subsections you define for your business. You can add multiple tags to each repo.
Once you create your repo tags, use the tags to quickly view data for that group of repos. Click a tag in the Repos filter to view reports for that group of repositories. Click a tag in the Repos filter in compatible reports to view data for those repos. Click Apply filter to view the results.
Adding and removing tags using the Actions menu
On your Flow home page, click Settings in the top navigation. In the left navigation under Integrations, click Repos.
The Repos page contains your imported repos. You cannot tag available repos that have not yet been imported.
To add a repo tag to multiple repos:
- Navigate to the Repos page.
- Select the repos you want to add a tag to using the check box on the left.
- Click Add tags in the Actions dropdown menu.
In the Add tags modal, search for your desired tag or type in a new one to create a new tag. Click Save. This adds the tags to your selected repos.
Remove tags using the Actions dropdown menu
To remove tags using the Actions dropdown menu:
- Select the repos you want to remove tags from using the checkbox next to each repo.
- Click Remove tags from the Actions dropdown menu.
- Search for the tags you want to remove.
- Click Save.
Note: If you want to delete any repo tags that are not being used, you can select Remove unused tags. This permanently deletes the tags.
Creating and removing tags on individual repos
To create or remove tags on individual repos:
- From the Repos page, click the repo you want to add a tag to.
- In the Tags section, view the repo’s associated tags.
- In the search bar, type the name of the tag you want to add. Either create a new tag or select an existing tag when results appear.
- Click the option that best matches what you're looking for.
Removing tags on an individual repo
To remove tags from an individual repo:
- Click on the repo you want to remove tags from.
- In the Tags section, view the repo’s associated tags.
- Click the X next to a tag name to remove one or multiple tags.
- After removing the repo tag, the page reloads and you will no longer see the tag in the tag list.
