Google Cloud in-course Qwiklabs

  • Updated
  • This article covers Qwiklabs embedded in Pluralsight Skills video courses. Qwiklabs, owned by Google, offer hands-on experience in a live cloud environment using real Google Cloud Platform tools—no simulations. You’ll receive temporary credentials and can launch labs directly from Google Cloud-authored courses to immediately apply what you’re learning. To learn more about the standalone Qwiklabs in our labs library, see Google Cloud self-paced labs.

    Accessing in-course Qwiklabs

Note: Your Skills account doesn’t store information about your Qwiklabs activity or completion as part of a course. If you’re on a team plan, your leader doesn’t have visibility into your Qwiklabs activity, but can see if you’ve completed courses that contain them.

You can access Qwiklabs directly from within Google Cloud-authored courses (opens in new tab) on Pluralsight. Here's how:

    1. Identify labs in a course.
      • Look for clips with Lab: in the title — these indicate a hands-on Qwiklab.

      • Some courses include multiple labs throughout the modules.
    2. Start a lab once you arrive at a link.
      • Click Open to launch the Qwiklab.
      • Click Skip to continue the course without doing the lab.

    3. Set up your Qwiklabs account (first-time only).
      • The first time you open a lab, you’ll see a Qwiklabs Redirect form where your details are prepopulated.
      • Create your Qwiklabs account with your Pluralsight email.
      • Edit your first and last name if needed.
      • Click Proceed to complete setup and access the lab.
    4. Return to a lab later.
      • You can revisit any lab at any time through its original course.
