Switching to a monthly or annual billing cycle
- Click your avatar in the navigation menu, then click Account settings.
- Click the Subscription & Billing tab.
- Click Manage plan.
- Click Change.
- Select your payment method or add a new payment method.
- Click Confirm.
Tip: Changing your billing cycle does not cancel your current subscription—rather, it sets the subscription type for your renewal.
For example, if you have an annual subscription set to expire May 15, changing to a monthly subscription means you'll finish your annual subscription and be charged for the monthly subscription on May 15th, and your new expiration date will be June 15.
To learn how to cancel your subscription, see Canceling an individual subscription.
Upgrading your subscription to Complete
To access Pluralsight's full library of content, upgrade your Core Tech, AI+, Data+, Security+ or Cloud+ subscription to Complete.
Note: You can't manually upgrade your legacy Standard or Premium subscription to Complete. Instead, your subscription will automatically upgrade to Complete with no action needed.
Upgrading from your account settings immediately upgrades your access level, and if you've paid for a monthly or annual individual subscription, you'll receive a one-time, prorated discount.
Important: This upgrade is non-refundable.
- Click your avatar in the navigation menu, then click Account settings.
- Click the Subscription & Billing tab.
- Click Manage plan.
- Click Upgrade.
- Select your payment method or add a new payment method.
- Click Confirm.
Tip: If you’ve already paid for an annual subscription that’s still active, the day you upgrade is your new renewal date. Your new subscription will be prorated for the remaining amount of time on the annual subscription that you already paid for.
Downgrading your subscription
You can’t downgrade your subscription the same way you can upgrade. However, you can update your account to allow you to change to a different subscription for your next billing cycle. For example, if you currently have a Complete subscription but want to narrow your focus to Cloud+, or if you don't need all the content in Security+ and want to switch to Core Tech, you can cancel and resubscribe. Here’s how:
-
Cancel your subscription so it doesn't automatically renew. You'll have access to paid content and features for the remainder of your subscription period.
Important: Your account, settings, data, and course progress remain intact when you cancel. However, you will not receive a refund for the remainder of your current subscription period, and any pricing or discounts will be lost.
- After the end of your subscription period, go to your Account page (opens in new tab) and click Upgrade now to resubscribe with the plan of your choice.
