Who can use this?
Paying for your subscription
You can use the following payment methods for Skills online transactions:
- Credit or debit card backed by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover
- Paypal
- ACH bank transfer (USD only)
- SEPA transfer (EUR only)
Note: Discover isn’t available for payments requiring a payment mandate.
You'll automatically be prompted to pay with USD (United States Dollar), EUR (Euro), GBP (British Pound), or INR (Indian Rupees). Depending on the location your billing information reflects, we charge tax on your subscription. This varies by county, state, and country, so see your invoice for information about taxes paid on your subscription. You can view your invoices on the payment history page (opens in new tab).
India payment mandates
In order to comply with banking regulations regarding recurring payments for customers in India, all payments originating from India initiate a payment mandate. A payment mandate is a request to authorize future payments to a vendor.
After you initiate a payment through the Pluralsight checkout page, you will be asked for a one-time password (OTP). Your financial institution will send you the OTP, usually via email. This is the payment mandate and will be sent 24 hours prior to funds being withdrawn from your account.
If the amount is above the pre-set amount you have with your bank, the OTP will be sent with a request for authorization. You’ll have 24 hours to respond to the request before the payment is declined. If payment is declined, you may see the payment go through before being immediately refunded. If you don’t receive an expected OTP, contact your financial institution for assistance.
If you previously paid for a subscription without a payment mandate, your automatic payment may decline. To fix this, remove your payment method and re-add the card. Upon your next renewal date, your financial institution will send you a payment mandate request.
Renewing your subscription
If you have a monthly subscription, your subscription will renew each month on the day of the month you signed up, unless it’s a month in which that date doesn’t exist. In that case, it would renew on the last day of that month. For example, if you signed up on March 31st, your subscription would renew on April 30th.
If you have an annual subscription, your subscription will renew each year on the date you signed up. Annual subscriptions signed up on February 29 of a leap year will renew on February 28 on non-leap years.
If you don't want your subscription to automatically renew, cancel your subscription before the renewal date. This allows you to continue using your subscription until the expiration date, but prevents your subscription from auto-renewing.
While we don't offer refunds for Skills subscriptions, you can cancel your subscription at any time. After canceling your subscription, you'll still be able to access your course content through the end of your paid term.
