The ACG video console provides a convenient set of tools for navigating through a course. This article explains its features and how to use them.
Go to the course of your choice and click Start course or Resume course to access the video console. To automatically launch the video console, click the chapter you want to watch. In the console, you’ll see the following features:
Navigation panel
A. Go back
This returns you to the main course page.
B. Previous lesson and Up next
This skips to the previous or next course module.
C. Mark complete/incomplete
This lets you mark a lesson as complete or incomplete.
D. Expand navigation panel
This expands and closes the navigation panel to reveal the Resources and Lessons tabs.
Resources: Tab includes a link to the Cloud Playground and resources for this lesson, such as the transcript and any materials uploaded by the course author.
Lessons: Tab includes a granular view of all videos in the course chapters.
E. Resources
This takes you directly to the resources tab. Click Resources in the navigation panel or on the course curriculum page to find resources. If the video mentions a resource that isn’t listed, contact Pluralsight Support with details about the video and the missing resource.
F. Playground
This takes you directly to the Hands on Playground page. Choose the cloud provider of your choice and click Start {Cloud provider} to launch the playground.
G. Lessons
This takes you directly to the expanded console view. Click Lessons to see the granular view of all videos in the course chapters.
Bottom of the console
H. Seek forward & backward
Skip forward or backward 15 seconds to review something you missed or skip over something you’ve already heard.
I. Subtitles
Turn subtitles on or off.
Note: Subtitles are currently only offered in English.
J. Settings
Turn Autoplay on or off. Adjust playback speed, seek speed, and video quality.
K. Picture-in-picture mode
Play your video in a small window while following along with other onscreen tasks.
L. Fullscreen
Enter fullscreen mode to block out other distractions.
