You can cancel your membership at any time by downgrading to a free plan.
Note: Downgrading to the always-free plan allows you ongoing but limited access to basic courses and features. This is different from the free 7-day full-access trial.
How do I downgrade to free?
To downgrade your membership to a free plan:
- Click your avatar in the navigation bar.
- Click Account Settings in the dropdown list.
- Click the Membership tab on the left.
- Click Change Plan.
- Click Downgrade to Free Plan and follow the prompts to complete your downgrade.
Your downgrade will be scheduled and take effect at the end of your subscription.
Will I be notified of the downgrade?
If you schedule a downgrade, you'll see this listed in your Membership Settings (opens in new tab). If you change your mind between the time you downgrade and the actual renewal date, you can undo the downgrade and revert back to Personal Basic or Personal Plus. To do this, go to Membership Settings and click Undo Downgrade.
Important: If you scheduled a downgrade, you won't be able to access the Change Plan button. Undo your downgrade before making new changes to your plan.
Downgrading during the 7-day free trial
If you haven’t downgraded your membership before the end of your trial, your paid membership will activate automatically. Downgrades made during the trial period take effect at the end of the 7-day free trial period.
Downgrading after the 7-day free trial
If you downgrade your membership after the 7-day free trial, you'll retain access to the features associated with your current plan until the date of your next renewal. At your next renewal, the subscription will expire and downgrade to the always-free plan.
Changed your mind about downgrading? You can always change your membership plan instead.
