Overview
The Certification prep center is a starting point that helps you prepare for your certification journey by gathering all of your certification resources into one place.
The Certification prep center lets you:
- Explore certifications by popularity, as well as by topics such as security, cloud, and IT ops
- See the top five certifications among your peers
- Track your preparation progress alongside other Pluralsight learners with the peer tracker
Note: Learners on some team plans can see which exams their colleagues are pursuing on the peer tracker.
Using the Certification prep center
Note: Access to practice exams depends on your subscription or plan type.
The Certification prep center helps you to keep track of your preparation progress—including any progress you've made outside the prep center—on practice exams and prep courses.
Access the Certification prep center by clicking Certifications (opens in new tab) in the navigation menu.
Certifications are organized by topic and then by vendor. Each vendor certification overview page contains an overview map showing how the certifications for that vendor fit together. Vendor certifications are further organized by subtopic such as fundamentals, security, and data or by roles such as architect, engineer, or leader.
Browse by topic
You can browse by topic such as IT Ops, Cloud, and Security.
To browse practice exams by topic:
- Click Certifications in the navigation bar to open the Certification prep center (opens in new tab).
- Click a topic in the list under Explore Certification Training, or scroll down to the corresponding carousel on the page.
- Use the arrows to explore your options.
- Click See all training plans on the certification of interest. This will take you to the vendor certification overview page.
- Click the Certification prep content tab.
- Scroll down and click the subtopic for your exam. View the overview map if you’re not sure which subtopic your exam is in.
- Click Open exam prep for the exam you want to take.
- Click Practice exam. You’ll be redirected to the CyberVista site to begin your practice exam.
Browse by newest and popular
You can also explore which individual exam prep materials are newest to the platform as well as which are the most popular. Look for Includes practice exam label on the cards to determine if the prep materials have a practice exam.
To browse practice exams by newest or popular certifications:
- Click Certifications in the navigation bar to open the Certification prep center (opens in new tab).
- Click Popular Certifications or Newest in the list under Explore Certification Training, or scroll down to the corresponding carousel on the page.
- Click the certification to open the path. Paths with a practice exam have an Includes practice exam label.
- Click Practice exam. You’ll be redirected to the CyberVista site to begin your practice exam.
