Currencies
Depending on your geographic location, you'll automatically be prompted to pay with one of the following currencies at checkout:
- USD (United States Dollars)
- EUR (Euros)
- GBP (British Pounds)
- INR (Indian Rupees)
- ZAR (South African Rands)
Depending on the location your billing information reflects, we charge tax on your subscription. This varies by county, state, and country, so see your invoice for information about taxes paid on your subscription. View your invoices on the payment history page (opens in new tab).
India payment mandates
In order to comply with banking regulations regarding recurring payments for customers in India, all payments originating from India initiate a payment mandate. This is a request to authorize future payments to a vendor.
After you initiate a payment through the Pluralsight checkout page, you’re asked for a one-time password (OTP). Your financial institution sends you the OTP, usually via email. This is the payment mandate and is sent 24 hours prior to funds being withdrawn from your account.
If the amount is above the pre-set amount you have with your bank, the OTP is sent with a request for authorization. You have 24 hours to respond to the request before the payment is declined. If payment is declined, you may see the payment go through before being immediately refunded. If you don’t receive an expected OTP, contact your financial institution for assistance.
If you previously paid for a subscription without a payment mandate, your automatic payment may decline. To fix this, remove the payment method from your individual account or team plan and re-add the card. Upon your next renewal date, your financial institution will send you a payment mandate request.

- Credit or debit card backed by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover

Team plan payment methods
For team plan billing, in addition to the payment methods listed above, we also accept purchase orders (POs), bank transfers, domestic and international wire transfers, checks, and courier deposits. If you need to pay through any of those methods, please contact Pluralsight Sales (opens email form).
Billing frequency
In most cases, team plans have annual contracts with Pluralsight, which are billed either annually or quarterly. If you select quarterly billing at checkout, your payment method is automatically charged every 90 days and your plan automatically renews annually.
To find out your next billing date, change your billing frequency, or if you’re interested in multi-year billing, reach out to your Account Executive or Pluralsight Sales (opens email form)
Tax exemptions
If you do business in a country with a value-added tax (VAT), you can add a tax exemption ID number at checkout. To learn whether you qualify for tax exemptions, contact our Sales team (opens email form) or reach out to your Customer Success Manager.
