If you’re a plan admin with access to make billing changes and purchases on behalf of your organization, you can add plan and add-on licenses to your team plan, upgrade your plan, or renew your plan online.
Who can use this?
Important: Certain plans can't add licenses or upgrade directly from Skills. If you run into errors, reach out to your Pluralsight contact.
Adding licenses to a plan

To add licenses to your plan:
- Click Account in the leader navigation menu.
- In the Skills section where your plan is listed, click Add new.
- Enter the number of licenses you want to add.
- Confirm or update your payment and order details.
Note: Your Pluralsight contact may need to reach out to you before your license request can be fulfilled.
Adding add-on licenses to a plan
If your plan already includes add-ons, you can increase the number of add-on licenses on your team plan. See Skills subscription and plan comparison to see which add-ons are available.
To add more add-on licenses:
- Click Account in the leader navigation menu.
- Click Add for the desired add-on.
- Enter the number of add-on licenses you want to purchase. This number must not be greater than the total number of plan licenses.
- Confirm or update your payment and order details.
Removing licenses from a plan
Speak with your Pluralsight contact to decrease the number of licenses on your plan. After you make this request, the licenses are removed from your plan at the next renewal date. You can find your renewal date on the Account page (opens in new tab). You will not be contacted when your licenses are removed.
Renewing a team plan
You can renew your team plan from the Account page as long as:
- Your plan's renewal date is within 90 days.
- There are fewer than 1,000 total licenses on your plan.
- Customers in India paying with INR have a license cap of 125 for online purchases.
- Customers in South Africa paying with ZAR have a license cap of 65 for online purchases.
Otherwise, get in touch with your Pluralsight contact to renew.
To renew your team plan:
- Click Account in the leader navigation menu
- In the Skills section where your renewal date is listed, click Renew now.
- If your plan is on a multi-year contract or includes add-ons, click Contact Sales to request renewal for your plan through your account representative.
- Make any updates to your plan’s license count and click Continue to renew.
- Proceed with the checkout process.
Any licenses you added will be available on your plan at your renewal date.
Upgrading or downgrading a team plan
If you’re a plan admin, you can upgrade your team plan from Starter to Professional, or Professional to Enterprise.
To upgrade your plan:
- Click Account in the leader navigation menu.
- In the Skills section where your plan type is listed, click Upgrade.
- Confirm or update your payment details. Your account will be prorated for the remainder of your term if you’re upgrading before your renewal date.
- Confirm your order details to complete your upgrade.
