Skills platform releases
Platform navigation
Now it’s even easier to navigate the Skills platform. We've moved the top navigation menu to the left side of the screen for better usability. The new role switcher at the bottom of the menu allows leaders with learner licenses to switch back and forth between Leader view and Learner view.
Users with the Everything plan can now find domain pages in the Learner view. Leaders can access Account from the Leader view menu, while learners can access Account settings by clicking their name in the Learner view (flyout menu opens). Additionally, we've added both a Help & Support link and a Send feedback link to the main navigation for easier access.
Online checkout
If you’re located in the United States, you can now pay for an individual subscription or team plan with ACH bank transfer as your payment method. See Changing your payment method for instructions.
Leader releases
Leader hub
Now you have enhanced insights and functionality at your fingertips with the new Leader hub. Tools such as the getting started checklist, license portal, and eagle-eye usage analytics provide accessible, intuitive, and actionable data to help you meet your goals. And the all-new automated reporting scheduler lets you spend less time collecting your data and more time acting on it.
Analytics
License filter
Now you can use the license filter on the Content, Skills Inventory, Tech Foundations, and Users & Usage reports. This adds the option to include or exclude removed and free users, or to filter by a specific license type if your plan includes more than one. In addition to the existing team and date filters, the new license filter gives you greater flexibility in refining and digesting your analytics data.
Updated date range behavior for Skills inventory
The date filter in the Skills Inventory report now strictly applies the selected date range when reporting Assessed users, Reassessed users, and Skill ups.
With this update, you'll see that the numbers for these metrics now accurately reflect activity within the selected date range. This enhancement ensures more precise and relevant insights. Rest assured, the comprehensive all-time data remains fully accessible. You can easily view it by selecting the all-encompassing date filter.
Learner releases
Iris
Iris, the Pluralsight AI assistant, is now available for individual subscribers. Iris surfaces content and allows learners to more efficiently discover new content and map out their learning journey on Skills. Individual subscribers can find Iris in the navigation bar.
Hands-on cloud labs for Skills
In order to provide you with the freshest content, we’re retiring Skills cloud labs in favor of ACG’s current and comprehensive cloud labs. Skills learners on plans with the labs add-on have already been provided access to a select number of ACG’s cloud labs at no additional cost.
If a cloud lab is scheduled for retirement, you’ll see a banner on the lab details page with a link to a comparable ACG lab if one exists.
See Hands-on cloud labs for Skills for details on how to access and replace this content in your channels before removal.
Adaptive browse
We've updated how the Browse page displays content based on your interests and data. The former section “What do you want to accomplish?” is now “New content for you” and shows content specifically aligned to your interests.
Job role filter
You can now filter content using the new job role filter.
