Skills and ACG integration
Hands-on cloud labs for Skills
Skills cloud labs were removed from the Skills library on August 26, 2024. In order to offer you our freshest hands-on cloud learning experiences, Skills plans with access to labs have been granted access to a subset of ACG’s cloud labs at no additional cost.
See Hands-on labs: getting started for more about learning with ACG cloud labs.
Skills leader releases
Online checkout
If you’re purchasing or starting a free trial of a team plan through Pluralsight’s online checkout, you’ll be asked to verify your email address with a one-time password (OTP). This security measure ensures that your email address can’t be used by others to purchase a subscription or begin a trial.
For details and answers to common questions, see Authorizing your purchase or trial with a one-time password (OTP).
Adding licenses at renewal
Plan admins with online billing and purchasing permissions can now add more licenses while renewing their team plan from the Account page. See Renewing a team plan for exceptions, license limits, and other details.
Customizing Role IQs with optional skills
Admins on team plans with the ability to create and customize Role IQs can now add optional skills to their roles. This feature enables you to create a role with a foundation of required skills essential to all users assigned to a role, while offering the flexibility of optional skills important to a subset of those users. See Role IQ for leaders: Enterprise plans for more information.
Learner releases
Add to channels in Iris
Users can now add content surfaced during Iris conversations directly into a new or existing channel while remaining in Iris. When Iris returns a list of Skills content, you’ll see an Add to channel button. Clicking this button will let you choose to add some or all of the content to a channel of your choosing. This release is available to all Skills customers with a subscription with access to Iris. See Iris: the Skills AI assistant for more information.
Apps and offline viewing releases
Pluralsight mobile app update
The Pluralsight mobile app for Android and iOS and the desktop app for MacOS have been updated to allow search results featuring video clips.
If the Search feature finds a topic that is covered within a specific clip in a video, it will now be surfaced in your search results. This lets you jump to specific clips, allowing you to find what you want to learn faster.
