As technology continues to evolve quickly, renewing your Pluralsight Skills team plan allows your teams to continue their upskilling journey. Renewing online also ensures consistent access to Skills for your organization while simplifying and automating renewal for your plan.
The billing contact or select admins on your plan will receive email reminders leading up to your plan’s renewal date. As a plan admin, you can renew in one of three ways.

Option 1: Online self-service renewal (recommended)
Renewing online is the most convenient way to initiate your plan's renewal. This method also allows you to easily change your payment method and add licenses while renewing.
You can renew online from the Account page (opens in new tab) as long as:
- You’re an admin on the plan,
- Your renewal date is within 90 days, and
- You’re renewing without any changes to your contract.
Note: To make other changes to your plan or to renew a plan that’s on a multi-year contract, includes add-ons, or has more than 999 licenses, reach out to your account team.
To renew online:
- Sign in to your Skills account (opens in new tab).
- Click Account in the leader navigation menu.
Tip: If you don’t see Account in the menu, click Learner navigation to switch your view to Leader navigation. If you don’t have this option, you’re not currently a plan admin—reach out to a plan admin to update your access.
- If you see a Renewal Date, your plan is scheduled to automatically renew. You can continue with these steps to renew early and optionally add more licenses to your plan.
- If you see an Expiring On date, your plan will not automatically renew. Continue with these steps to ensure continued access to Skills for your team.
- Click Renew Plan.
- If you have an AI + Data or Security + Cloud plan, you have the option to upgrade at renewal. Click Upgrade Now to upgrade to the Everything plan, or click Continue with Current Plan to renew with your current plan.
If you’re on a legacy plan, you’ll be automatically upgraded to Everything when you renew—see Updated plans and pricing for details. - To add more licenses, type a number or use the plus and minus icons to adjust how many licenses you want to add to your plan. Otherwise, click Continue to Renew to proceed to checkout. It may take a few minutes for the page to load—to avoid losing your progress, do not exit or refresh the page.
Note: Depending on your currency, there are limits to how many licenses you can add at a time online. Get in touch with your account team to expand beyond these limits at renewal.
- Select an existing payment method or add a new one.
- Once you’ve reviewed your order, check the box to agree to the Terms of Use, then click Purchase to finalize your renewal.
Note: Any discounts originally applied to your plan are also applied to your total at checkout.
Congrats—you’ve successfully renewed your team plan. You’ll be shown a receipt for your order, which will also be emailed to you. In the future, you can find record of the transaction on the payment history page (opens in new tab).
When you renew online, you’re charged for the next billing term on the day you process the renewal, but your renewal date stays the same.
If you added more licenses, you can assign them to learners on your plan the day after your renewal date. For example, if you added 20 licenses to your plan when you renewed online on October 1, and your renewal date is October 14, the licenses you added will be available to assign to learners on October 15.
To check whether your online renewal was successful, go to the Account page (opens in new tab). There should no longer be a Renew Plan option on this page.
Note: If you’re upgrading to Everything at renewal, your plan type in the Skills section will be updated on your renewal date, and not at the time you process the renewal.
Option 2: Automatic renewal
Auto-renewal ensures consistent access to Skills for your team with no action needed from you. If your plan is on automatic renewal, be sure to verify your billing details before your renewal date.
Tip: If you see a Renewal Date on your Account page (opens in new tab), that means your plan has auto-renew enabled.
When you’re charged for renewal depends on your auto-pay status:
- If your plan has auto-pay turned on, the default payment method on file is charged automatically on the renewal date.
- If your plan has auto-pay turned off, your billing contact is emailed an invoice at renewal with a link to pay manually via bank transfer or credit card.
Renewing online ensures that both auto-pay and auto-renewal are enabled for your plan going forward. If your plan was purchased online or purchased via credit card through our Sales team, auto-pay is already turned on by default.
Option 3: Work with your account team
Your account team can assist with your renewal and any updates to your services—see Working with your Pluralsight account team for details.
What's next
Thank you for renewing your Skills team plan—you’ll be glad you invested in your team’s growth. Next, take these steps to make the most of your licenses and drive your organization’s upskilling strategy:
- Review your admins and team managers on the People page (opens in new tab) and make any necessary changes. See Managing plan admins and Managing team managers for instructions.
- Review your learners on the People page (opens in new tab) as well. To ensure that everyone on your team who needs access to Skills has it, invite new learners to your plan and resend an invitation to anyone who hasn’t accepted. For more information, see Managing learners.

Troubleshooting
Why do I see a 403 error that I’m not authorized to view the Account page?
You must be a plan admin to view the Account page. If you’re responsible for renewal changes and you can’t access this page, reach out to an admin on your plan to update your role. If no one in your organization has admin privileges, see What’s my role? for next steps.
Why don’t I see the “Renew Plan” option on my Account page?
If you don’t see Renew Plan on your Account page, it’s either because your plan isn’t within the 90-day renewal window or your plan has already been renewed early.
Are there limits to how many licenses I can purchase online?
Depending on your currency, there are limits to how many licenses you can add to your plan at a time. You’ll be shown a warning if you try going over these limits:
- USD, EUR, GBP: 999 licenses
- INR: 125 licenses
- ZAR: 65 licenses
You must work with your account team to increase your license count beyond these limits.
