Teachers can benefit from Pluralsight One's partnership (opens in new tab) with the Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA+). This partnership provides free access to courses that align to national computer science certification exams, as well as discounted access to our entire platform.

What is the CSTA+ benefit?

All CSTA+ members can redeem a one-year limited library Pluralsight Skills benefit through the CSTA+ resource portal (external site, opens in new tab). You’ll receive access to over 30 software development courses that teach computer science concepts and programming skills via the CSTA channel (opens in new tab). These curated courses will help you develop the skills needed to pass national computer science certification exams and bring the concepts to life in the classroom.

How do I access my benefit?

From the CSTA+ benefits page (external site, opens in new tab), follow the steps to access your Pluralsight One benefit and get your one-time use offer code. Enter your offer code and your information on the Pluralsight One redemption page (opens in new tab). You’ll be logged in to Pluralsight and you can start learning. Make sure to check out the CSTA channel (opens in new tab) to guide your learning.

Tip: If you’ve had a Pluralsight account in the past, use your same email address to continue using that account so your Skill IQ scores, history, and bookmarks are all on the same account.

How do I set my account password?

When you redeem your Pluralsight benefit, you’re automatically logged into Pluralsight Skills.

After redeeming your benefit, you’ll receive an email asking you to log in and create a password. If you don’t receive this email asking you to log in, please follow the password reset steps, or contact Pluralsight Support (opens email form).

You can also access Skills on your mobile device and even view video courses offline. See Apps and offline viewing to learn more.

How do I upgrade to an individual Premium subscription?

CSTA+ members who’ve redeemed the above free benefit are eligible to redeem an exclusive discount for a Premium Pluralsight Skills subscription.

When you redeem the free benefit, Pluralsight will send a promotional code to the email address you used to create a Pluralsight account. If you haven’t received this email, contact Support. To upgrade, visit your Subscription & Billing page (opens in new tab).

The Premium subscription level gives you access to even more Skills features than the free benefit, including:

  • The entire Skills library with thousands of expert-led courses across hundreds of topics
  • Interactive courses
  • Projects
  • CyberVista (formerly Kaplan) certification practice exams

You will keep this discount as long as your subscription is active; but if you cancel this subscription, we won’t be able to re-apply the discount.
