How do I access Pluralsight content on my Amazon Fire TV, Fire TV Stick, or Android TV?

Tags: Skills

The Pluralsight app is available on the Amazon Fire TV, Fire TV Stick, and on Android TV.

The Fire TV app must be downloaded from the Apps section of your Fire TV menu. Amazon has detailed instructions here for downloading apps.

You can download the Android TV app through the Play Store app on your Android TV. Google has detailed instructions here for downloading and removing apps.

What can I do with the Fire TV app?

With the app, you can search the entire library of courses on Pluralsight Skills. You also have access to paths and bookmarks. These features will appear on your home screen once you use them on any device.

You can even edit and create bookmarks from the app.

Note: The Fire TV app does not support the notes feature.

With a paid Skills subscription, you can download up to 30 courses, provided your device has enough available space. If your device runs out of space or you no longer wish to have a course downloaded, you can remove it.

Can I sign in with device authorization?

Yes! If you would like to use device authorization instead of your username/password, or if your company uses Single Sign On (SSO) authentication for Pluralsight, you can sign in using device authorization. This will generate a 6-digit security code you can use to authorize your device. After you have the code, use a web browser to access your Pluralsight account, go to your Account page, click Add device, and enter your authorization code.
