What you can do with Users & Usage analytics

What does the Users: All users report cover?

The Users / All Users report is the default report for account administrators when they select “reports” in the left nav. This page gives account administrators a leaderboard of top performers, an aggregate of all users and a table with all their users and the associated data.

Data shown on this report includes all users currently on this account and any users who were on the account but were deleted from the account in the filtered time period.

Account Administrators

  • This is the default report for account administrators. If they click on “reports” or if they click on “details” from the user activity modal on the dashboard the account administrator will land here.
  • Dates can be filtered by 30d, 90d and 1 year.
  • This report includes data on users who are part of the plan and those who were part of the plan during the selected time period even if they have been deleted.  
  • The table will be sorted by total hours as a default
  • User Name: is pulled from the user’s profile and is managed by the user only.
  • Email: is designed so that the account administrators can copy and paste the email. Also, it is pulled from the user’s profile and is managed by the user only.
  • Start Date: represents the date the user was assigned a license.
  • Team column: represents the team to which the user was assigned at the time the report was run.
  • Courses Viewed: represents the number of unique courses where the user started or viewed at least one clip.  
  • Total Hours: represents the total time the user has viewed content in the product. If the user views the same clip more than once it is counted again.
  • Last Log In: represents the last time the user was logged into the application or viewed a clip.

Team Managers

  • Will not have this view. 

What does the Users: All Teams report cover?

Users: All Teams: This view is designed for both account administrators and team managers. Account administrators will see historical data on usage rolled up to a team level for all teams. Team managers will see the same view but only for teams they manage.

Data shown on this report includes all users currently on this account and any users who were on the account but were deleted from the account in the filtered time period.

Account Administrators

  • Dates can be filtered by 30d, 90d and 1 year.
  • This report includes users who were removed from the account.
  • This reports includes teams which were dissolved.
  • The table will be sorted by total hours as a default.
  • Total Hours represents total hours of usage during the time of the report for all active users who were on this team during this time or any users who are no longer on the account but were on the team.
  • Courses viewed is the unique number of courses viewed by the team where at least one clip of the course has been viewed. Only one course can be counted as unique (i.e. two users watch the same course, it gets counted as one).

Team Managers

  • Same information as above.
  • Team managers must have at least two teams to get this view. 

What does the Users: Team View report cover?

Users: Team View: This view is designed for both account administrators and team managers. It gives all of the users on the team and their activity level for the time selected.

Data shown on this report includes all users currently on this account and any users who were on the account but were deleted from the account in the filtered time period.

Account Administrators

  • Dates can be filtered by 30, 90 and 1 year.
  • This report includes users who were removed from the account but were on the team during the time period.
  • The table will be sorted by total hours as a default.
  • User Name: is pulled from the user’s profile and is managed by the user only.
  • Email: is designed so that the user can copy and paste the email. Also, it is pulled from the user’s profile and is managed by the user only.
  • Start Date: represents the date the user started on the account.

Team Manager

  • Will only see this view if they are listed as the team manager.

What does the Usage report cover?

This view is for account administrators and it gives a view of usage trends for the entire account.

Data shown on this report includes all users currently on this account and any users who were on the account but were deleted from the account in the filtered time period.

Account Administrator

  • Dates can be filtered by 30d, 90d and 1 year.
  • This report includes users who were removed from the account but were on the team during the time period.
  • The table will be sorted by total hours viewed as a default.
  • TotalLicenses: Represents the number of licenses associated with the account for the filtered time.
  • Licenses Assigned: Represents the number of licenses that are assigned to a user for the filtered time at the end of the time period.
  • Total Hours Viewed: represents the total time all users have viewed content in the product. If a user views the same clip more than once it is counted again.
  • Avg Hours per User: represents the average hours per user on the account. It is calculated by taking the Total viewed hours and dividing that by the number of licenses redeemed.
  • CoursesViewed: represents the number of unique courses where the user started or viewed at least one clip.

Team Manager

  • Will get this for only their active teams.
