The app supports sign in using a password and the primary email address or username. If you would like to use device authorization instead of your email/password, or if you're on a group plan and sign in to Pluralsight on the web using SSO, our macOS/Windows app allows device authorization so you can sign in without login credentials.
Devices can be authorized using the following steps:
Open the Pluralsight app and click Sign in using a Company or School account, underneath the email and password fields.
Next, a 6-digit code will display. This code will be entered in the user account on the web. The code does expire after 15 minutes, so if this time elapses before the code is entered online, the process will need to be restarted to generate a new code.
Log in on Pluralsight.com and go to the account page by selecting the three dots in the top right corner of the site. Select the Devices tab, and then choose Add device. A field will appear to enter the code, then choose Add Device again to link the device to the account.
If the authorization is successful, the device will show in the Authorized devices list.
You can manage your devices anytime on your Account page. If you would like to remove a device from your authorized devices list, go to your Account page in your browser and click on the Devices tab. Next to the device you would like to remove from your authorized devices list, click Remove.
Important: Each device should only be authorized once. If you have a device that has been authorized multiple times, please remove duplicate authorizations.
