What if I already have a personal account with A Cloud Guru?
You're already well ahead of your peers. Your admin can invite your personal account if they're okay with that. This is the easiest way to go, and will automatically keep all of your course progress. If they require the business email to be in the organization there are two options:
- If your account was set up using an email and password, you can simply change your account email address to the business email to join. Just follow this simple guide. Please ensure your individual membership is canceled within your account settings.
- If your account was set up using a single sign-on (think Google, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) then changing your account email is not an option as we are not the ones managing it. You will need to create a new account using the business email address.
I'm already paying for a membership, what do I do?
If this is an annual membership with time remaining, we will happily refund the prorated amount for you. Just send the Support team a ticket here and choose the options Business Subscription; Join My Company.
Is there a chance for me to get swag?
Because we know it's all about the swag. You can win swag from contests we hold periodically via marketing emails, Facebook, and Twitter. Not connected with us on those platforms? You're missing out. You can find us on Facebook here and Twitter here.
I've been assigned a Learning Path. What does that mean?
Simply put, your admin cares about your success. You can learn more about learning paths here, but the path your admin has assigned you gives you a clear understanding of what you should be studying to move most efficiently to true Guru status.
What happens if my company's membership expires or I've been removed?
There are a number of reasons the membership may expire or your administrator removes you from a license. The best way to get exact answers is to go straight to your administrators/managers to figure out why.
You can also sign up for either a monthly or annual renewing membership. You can learn more here about what each one has to offer. If you sign up for a membership on the same account you've been learning on, you can pick right up where you left off as progress is saved.
And of course, either way, you should write your admin to let them know how much you miss the membership.
