To customize a channel, first duplicate it, then edit it to fit your needs.
To duplicate a channel, locate the channel, then click the ••• options menu next to the Join channel button. Click Duplicate and fill in the details, including the name, objective, description, and privacy settings.
When selecting the privacy settings, choose Company to allow anyone within your organization access to the channel, or Personal - You & people with a link for tighter control over who has access.
Once you’ve got your channel customized—don’t worry, you can always fine-tune it later—it’s time to share it with your team. Channels offer great flexibility in sharing, depending on your individual needs. Please see Adding channel members, contributors, and owners for details.
