Tech Foundations analytics give you both high-level and detailed metrics of your team's progress in Tech Foundations topics.

Note: Tech Foundations analytics is available only on plans that have purchased Tech Foundations.

Important: Tech Foundations analytics is a beta experience and may change in the future.


What you can do

Insights gained from Tech Foundations analytics include:

  • Overall assessments assigned and passed
  • Users assigned and active
  • Topic completion
  • Assessment pass rates by topic

Web report

To get started:

  1. Click Analytics in the left navigation panel.
  2. Click the Tech Foundations tab in the top center panel.

Tech Foundations analytics includes two views:

  • The default view is the Overview.
  • When you scroll down to the Content table and click a particular topic, you'll see its Topic detail report.

Overview

The Overview provides high-level data on your team's progress with Tech Foundations.

  1. The Overview metrics detail your team's engagement in Tech Foundations topics. The data fields include:
  2. The Assessments passed visualization shows both the percentage and the number of users who have passed each Tech Foundations assessment, sorted by descending order. Calculation is based on the number of users passed divided by number of users assigned.
  3. You can customize both the web and CSV reports with the date range filter.
  4. You can customize both the web and CSV reports with the teams filter. To view unassigned users, make sure all teams are deselected.
  5. You can download a CSV report of your analytics data (discussed below).

Content table

Below the Overview, the Content table displays details for each Tech Foundations topic. Clicking on or next to each label allows you to either filter or sort by that field. For those that sort, you can click again to toggle between ascending and descending.

The data fields include:

You can click on any item in the Content title column to see its Topic detail report.

Topic detail report

The Topic detail report provides finer details for the selected video or assessment.

  1. The overview shows overall metrics for the selected video or assessment. 
  2. The user table details the activity of the users who have engaged in the selected video or assessment. Clicking on or next to each label allows you to either filter or sort by that field. For those that sort, you can click again to toggle between ascending and descending.
