Setting up and editing your profile

Your profile tells the story of your learning in the cloud through the skills you've gained, your contribution to the cloud community, and your prior industry experience. It tracks your certifications, course completions, skills and specializations. Plus it's super easy to set up. So, let's get started!

Registering your profile

After you've verified your email address, our website will prompt you to register your profile upon logging in.

In order to complete your registration, you must complete all required fields. Change the recommended Display Name and Handle by clicking Change in the upper right corner. You can edit these later in your user profile.

  • Display Name*
  • Handle*

All other fields are optional but the more information you provide, the more our Gurus will get to know you.

Note: If you signed up using a social media single sign-on (SSO), some of these values may have been auto-populated for you.

Editing your profile

Click on your name in the upper right hand side of the home page, then select User Profile from the drop down. This will take you to your Cloud profile.

You can edit your profile by selecting the Edit icon next to each section.

Your Cloud Profile is separated into five sections that can be toggled between private and public.

  1. Personal Details: (This Sections is always private)
  2. About Me: Tell the world a little about yourself
  3. Industry Certifications: Show off your Industry Cred. Check out this article on uploading certifications.
  4. Completed Courses: It's like a transcript but cooler.
  5. Employment History: Take us down memory lane.

The Final Result: One Guru Looking Profile!

You now have the most awe inspiring profile in the cloud-iverse. Great job!
