Pluralsight Skills offers analytics web reports and CSV (comma-separated values file) reports to help you track your teams' progress. These analytics reports offer a wealth of information and insights into your team.

Scope of available analytics
All users on a team plan can see the same analytics data—relevant to their role.
- Learners can view analytics of their own usage on Learner analytics and history.
- Team managers can view analytics of members of teams they manage on Leader analytics.
- Plan admins can view analytics of all learners on their plan on Leader analytics.
Retired content
All analytics reports include your learners’ activity in current—as well as retired—content. See Content availability to learn more about retired content.
Glossary of analytics terms
Achieved date
Date the certification was achieved, as reported by the learner. In CSV report: Cert achieved date.
Account name
Customer-facing account name.
Activity timestamp
Timestamp of when the attempt or session occurred (CSV report only).
All certifications
Total number of uploaded certifications.
Attempt date
Timestamp of the attempt.
Attempts
Number of attempts to complete a hands-on lab, practice exam, or Skill IQ.
Best outcome
All-time best outcome of Attempts for a practice exam. Values include pass and fail.
Best rank level
Level of the Best rank percentile. Values include (from low to high) novice, emerging, average, above average, and expert.
Best rank percentile
All-time best Rank percentile achieved by the learner.
Best task completion
All-time best Task completions for a hands-on lab.
Cert achieved date
See Achieved date (CSV report only).
Cert expiration date
See Expiration date (CSV report only).
Cert provider
See Provider (CSV report only).
Cert status
See Certification status (CSV only).
Certification
Name of the certification.
Certification status
The certification's status of recognition by the certifying body. Values include active (meaning a certification currently recognized by the certifying body) or inactive (meaning a historical certification no longer issued or recognized by the certifying body). This status does not relate to the Expiration date of a learner's uploaded certification. In CSV report: Cert status.
Clips
Number of video clips (segments of a course) viewed.
Completed attempts
Number of completed Attempts.
Content ID
Type-specific content identifier (CSV report only). Null for cloud server and prompt sandbox where the API aggregates per learner rather than per playground.
Content title
Display title of the content (CSV report only). Null for cloud server and prompt sandbox.
Course
Name of the course. In CSV report: Course title.
Course completions
Number of courses completed.
Course ID
Stable course identifier (CSV report only).
Course interactions
Number of courses engaged with, equalling one interaction per course.
Course progress
Duration of completed tasks divided by duration of mandatory tasks. For the CSV report, 1.0 = complete; multiply by 100 for percentage.
Course title
Display title of the Course (CSV report only).
Duration
Total expected learning time to complete the course, hands-on lab, practice exam, Skill IQ, task, or video clip. This is the denominator for Course progress. In web report: listed in Hours and Minutes; in CSV report: Estimated duration seconds, listed in Seconds.
Learner's email address.

Expiration date
Expiration date of the certification, as reported by the learner. In CSV report: Cert expiration date.
Expired certifications
Number of expired uploaded certifications, calculated on the date of the report and the Expiration date.
First name
Learner's first name (CSV report only).
Hands-on labs
Names of hands-on labs engaged with.
Lab mode
Values include challenge and guided (CSV only).
Lab status
Completion status of a lab. Values include complete and incomplete.
Last activity
Timestamp of the learner's most recent activity with the content.
Last attempt
Timestamp of the last attempt.
Last name
Learner's last name (CSV report only).
Last session
Timestamp of last session with the cloud server or sandbox.
Last uploaded
Most recent date the certification was uploaded or updated.
Learner
Name of the learner. Broken down to First name and Last name on CSV reports.
Learners
Number of learners who have uploaded a certification or interacted with a piece of content.
Learning
Name of the content.
Learning time
Actual time spent on hands-on labs, practice exams, Skill IQ, and video clips—capped at content Duration. In web report: listed in Hours and Minutes; in CSV report: Learning time seconds, listed in Seconds.

Learning type
Learning modality (CSV report only). Values include certification, cloud server, hands-on lab, practice exam, prompt sandbox, sandbox, Skill IQ, and video.
License status
Status of Skills license (CSV report only). Values include paid and free.
LLMs used
List of LLMS used. In CSV report: Models used.
Models used
See LLMs used (CSV only).
Num prompts
See Prompts (CSV only).
Num tasks completed
See Tasks completed (CSV only).
Outcome
Result of the attempt of the practice exam or Skill IQ. Values include pass and fail.
Pass rate
Number of learners who passed divided by number of Learners.
Passing score
Minimum score to pass a practice exam. In CSV report: Required passing score.
Plan ID
Pluralsight plan identifier (CSV report only).
Practice exam
Name of practice exam.
Practice time
Time spent in open-ended playground environments, including cloud server and sandboxes. In web report: listed in Hours and Minutes. In CSV report: Practice time seconds, listed in Seconds.

Prompts
Number of prompts submitted via the prompt sandbox. In CSV report: Num prompts.
Provider
Certifying body (i.e., provider) of the certification. In CSV report: Cert provider.
PS user ID
Stable Pluralsight user identifier (CSV report only).
Rank level
Level of the Rank percentile. Values include (from low to high) novice, emerging, average, above average, and expert.
Rank percentile
Rank percentile of the attempt score relative to other Pluralsight learners who have taken the same Skill IQ.
Recently uploaded
Number of certifications uploaded in the last 30 days.
Required passing score
See Passing score (CSV only).
Sandbox
Name of the sandbox.
Score
Score achieved during the attempt of the practice exam or Skill IQ. For CSV report, multiply by 100 for percent display.
Servers
Number of servers engaged with.
Sessions
Number of instances of a sandbox being open.
Skill IQ
Name of the Skill IQ.
Status
Status of the attempt. Values for hands-on lab include complete, incomplete, pass, and fail. Values for practice exam, and Skill IQ include complete and incomplete.
Subjects
Subjects covered in the content.
Task
Name of the task that makes up part of the content.
Task completions
Number of tasks completed in a course.
Task status
Status of task completion. Values include complete and incomplete.
Task type
Type of task. Values include hands-on lab, practice exam, Skill IQ, and video.
Tasks completed
Number of tasks completed in a hands-on lab. In CSV report: Num tasks completed.
Team IDs
Semicolon-delimited list of team UUIDs corresponding to Team names (CSV report only).
Team names
Semicolon-delimited list of Teams names (CSV report only). Direct teams only (no parent teams).
Teams
Names of teams the learner is assigned to. In CSV report: Team names.
Unique certifications
Number of unique certifications uploaded. For example, if the same certification was uploaded by three different learners, it would count as one unique certification. This number will always be equal to or less than All certifications.
Valid certifications
Number of non-expired uploaded certifications. Equals All certifications minus Expired certifications.
