Plan admin & team manager: Getting started

Get your organization started
using Pluralsight

Lead your team to success
with Pluralsight —
the technology skills platform

Introduction

This six-chapter getting started guide will help you start your organization using Pluralsight. This guide will also help you answer questions like:

  • What are our goals?
  • What are our teams' technical strengths and areas to develop?
  • How do we know we're succeeding?

Who is this for?

Whether you're a CTO or CIO, a learning & development coordinator, or a front-line manager, you'll find useful resources here to make your team successful.

Within Pluralsight, there are two types of roles that can manage learners and content:

Plan admins can invite learners to the plan, create more plan admins, create teams, and remove learners from the plan. We'll cover these functions in Chapter 2. Plan admins also have special content organization access that we'll cover in Chapter 3, and have full access to analytics, which we'll cover in Chapter 4.

Team managers can view the learners assigned to them, and their analytics. Plan admins can also grant more access to team managers, such as the abilities to invite learners, remove users, edit learner email addresses, and edit teams. We'll explain this in greater detail in Chapter 2 and Chapter 4.

We'll note which steps are relevant to which users, below.
